Preparation of "Slime"
Required: Guar flour, borax, 100-ml-measuring cylinder, sieve, spoon, beakers, plastic bags, borax (sodium borate), food additive colour

Preparation of a quantity of borax solution for all experiments

Measure 100 [ml] of tap water in a beaker and add one teaspoon of powdered borax. Stir to dissolve the borax completely.


Slime

Fill 50 [ml] of tap water into a beaker and evtl. add a few drops of food additive colour. Now sieve 1/2 teaspoon of guar flour into the solution. It should be not completely solid by stirring.
Finally add 1/2 teaspoon of the borax solution and stir carefully.
Fill the "slime" into a plastic bag. If kept in a fridge it works for plenty of days!
