Groundnut creme
Groundnut oil is very pleasant to your skin. It penetrates easily and leaves no trace of fat on it. The creme may be used as a day or as a night creme. When brought to the skin give a short period for its effects and remove the rest from the skin with a soft paper tissue.


Required: 400 or 600 [ml] beaker for a water bath; two 250 [ml] beaker; groundnut oil; lanolin anhydrite; bee wax; cocoa butter; cetyl alcohol; rose water; evtl. lavender oil; glass rod

Melt together in the 250-ml-beaker in the boiling water bath:

20 [g] of lanolin anhydrite
3 [g] of bee wax
3 [g] of cocoa butter
3 [g] of cetyl alcohol

Add 30 [ml] of groundnut oil and warm to ca. 60 [°C].
Warm in the other beaker the rose water to ca. 60 [°C]. Remove the beakers from the heat source and add 30 – 40 [ml] of rose water to the molten mixture. Under constant stirring allow to cool first until the creme is handwarm and add two drops of the lavender oil. Then cool to room temperature until the creme is solid.
Fill the creme into an adequate container.
